Fitness Gadgets Fitness Gadgets are in! and if you have a sister, a friend or a girl friend who love’s going to the gym or are health conscious, you may want to give her a techie valentine’s day gift this coming February! Give her a fitness gadget!

While a pair of gym pants and shoes are good (as long as you know the right size), giving her a fitness gadget will motivate her more and will help her achieve her goal.

And if you are not a fitness buff yourself, your girlfriend’s fitness regimen is maybe one of the things that you can’t relate with… well, giving her some fitness gadgets will show that you appreciate her passion and love the way she is (am I talking from experience? hehehe.. )

Fitness GadgetsWhen I started blogging last july, i had been on and off the gym since blogging and researching takes most of my free time after work. Taking blogging seriously made me even freeze my gym subscription and concentrate more on setting up this blog. But now that I had already done what i need to do that concerns about blogging…. I’m planning to go back to the gym, and myfitnesspal is one of my motivators. This site reminds me about my fitness goals, and since I spend most of my time online, having an instant calorie counter, online food diary and excercise log really are a big big help for me to achieve my fitness goal.

Myfitnesspal offers a free membership so I think there’s no reason not to try their service. Upon signing up you will be asked to create your diet profile, that is to give your current weight, your goal weight, your daily activity and how quickly you want to lose weight and other information that is vital to identify your fitness goal.

Missing the gym for about 2 weeks now (due to busy schedule) inspires me to write about gadgets and fitness in a regular basis (haven’t you noticed? hehe) ..

I was first introduced with heart rate monitors when me and my fitness coach were discussing about number of calories burnt for every physical activity. She told me i can get a quiet accurate value when i try polar heart rate monitor (she’s wearing one then).

During those laazzyyy days that I’m not in the mood to go to the gym (yes i’m tryin to be a fitness buff errr), i use this little gadget to count my steps, mainly to motivate me to achieve at least 5,000 steps a day (that’s my personal goal), 10,000 steps maximum.
