During those laazzyyy days that I’m not in the mood to go to the gym (yes i’m tryin to be a fitness buff errr), i use this little gadget to count my steps, mainly to motivate me to achieve at least 5,000 steps a day (that’s my personal goal), 10,000 steps maximum.
One great feature of the Omron HJ-112 is that it works if placed on your waistband, in your pocket or clipped on to your pocketbook. This allows you to keep track of your steps and distance walked all day, not just during your workout. Make sure to have this gadget lie on its face or on its back relative to the ground while in a moving vehicle (cars, jeeps, trains etc.). This would make the gadget stop counting, but most likely, there is small variance due to the very sensitive sensor. Pedometers are proven to motivate people to exercise more. With determination, these gadgets are really a great help in achieving a healthy and fit body. So instead of taking some supplements like hydroxycut, better walk your way to fitness and achieve that fitness goal the natural way :) Source(s): About.Com Package contains: Main Unit, Battery, Screwdriver, Strap, Clip for strap, Holder (locally, holder is not available), Instruction Manual and Warranty Card. Price: Bought mine at Electronic Boutique - ParkSquare at PHP1,400.00. List price at Amazon.com is $39.99 but they are giving away great discounts so there’s a big change of getting this product at a lower cost.
