Digital Cameras: Canon IXUS 80 IS / Canon PowerShot SD1100

Ixus 80 isWhen I was in Singapore, I thought of buying Sony’s T300, well, I changed my mind and opt for a more advanced camera which is the Canon Powershot G9 (Black but pretty ‘inside’ hehe). Unfortunately, something happened and I don’t have enough money to buy that model right now, so I just bought the Canon IXUS 80 IS.

I bought my Canon Ixus 80 is at Hidalgo yesterday. I went to several camera stores like Avenue, Henry’s and I forgot the other one. Since I’m kinda uncomfortable with the place, I just went to Henry’s and bought the camera :)

I got it for PHP14,500.00 with free 2GB SD Card and IXUS Camera Case

sa Hidalgo ba may 1 year warranty? am planning to buy this digicam din kasi. sabi non friend ng brother ko laking mura sa Hidalgo though nakakatakot talaga ung place. I mean mura nga sha pero does it come with a warranty naman?

Yes, my canon ixus 80is comes with 1-yr CANON warranty….

what’s the difference po bah between canon ixus 80is and canon powershot SD1100? i mean..i know they both have the same specs and they look alike. but im wondering why they have different names. are they really different? or what? thanks :)

Actually it’s the same camera, Canon Ixus 80is in Europe and PowerShot SD1100 IS ELPH in US
