NEO ENDURA 531NLi Review
Check my Neo Laptop review, Check T3 Review Just yesterday, I left it turned on overnight without plugging the charger, so when I woke up, the battery is already exhausted. When I turned it on, I encountered a ‘Blue screen’ error ( I guess most of you know what it is, others call it blue screen of death). I tried to reboot using safe mode but I encountered the same error. I tried the last known good configuration, but the same error occured. I tried other options available but none of these had worked. I checked the error but nothing hardware related (as I understand it). So i have no other option but to reinstall my OS. So there.. I already reinstalled windows and everything went back to normal. I reformatted by drive C so most of my local blogs versions are gone. Since this is a new life for Phoenix haha, I decided to upgrade its memory. I called Compex-SM San Lazaro branch to ask for the upgrade price ( since its the nearest Mall in our place), but unfortunately they said that the memory that I inquired is not available, I’m not sure though if the product is not available or the service is not available or whatever, since the girl who had answered my call seems lost haha. My other option, Octagon-SM San Lazaro. They ask for the capacity that I want to add, and told me the price. So I immediately packed my laptop and headed to SM San Lazaro. When I arrived there, a staff assisted me, some few verifications and he installed an additional 512MB of memory on my laptop. The memory upgrade costs me PHP1,581.00. The installation is free. I’m really satisfied with their service so I really recommend them, you can reach Octagon SM San Lazaro Branch at 786-2468. So there.. Phoenix is still alive, stronger and more powerful haha… should I name it Dark Phoenix now? haha Naaa! ——————————— Many people now prefer to buy laptop computers. Many companies therefore cater for this rising demand. The sony laptops are sold the most. They are very expensive however. On the contrary, used laptop scrap is cheaply available but is normally of no use. The new laptop technology has even given rise to a new market which is of laptop accessories. One example of such an accessory is laptop batteries. People also feel so proud to buy Neo laptops due to its amazing variety of features. For example its battery lasts around for 3 hours. hey there! I bought a NEO VIVD 572 SVB laptop from COMPEX. How long does the battery usually last? And on my screen I just saw this dead spot (just a tiny speck on the screen), does this mean my LCD’s already defective? Napansin ko lang to when I changed the background screen to a darker shade, tapos nakita ko na may pin-sized white spot a walang kulay. What’s the sitz? Should I return this to the store and ask for a replacement? I will appreciate it if you can email me the answer? Thanks so much!
Hi Monsy,
the battery of my NEO usually lasts for 3hours
I guess pa check mo na po sya sa compex
Alam nyo… mostly NEO laptops have very low signal on WIFI… I suggest you buy USB WIFI. But the performanmce of NEO is good especially when it is upgraded. Coz mine was upgraded to 2GB. And it is really fast!
I bought the same laptop (NEO ENDURA 531NLi) April of last year. Sad to say, it encountered a problem with its RAM. I upgraded the laptop when I bought it, from 512mb to 1gb using 2 512mb RAM modules. Last January, the RAM it came with was fried. It was inserted on the first RAM slot. I replaced it with a new single 1gb RAM module, placed in the first RAM slot. Last May, it got fried again. This time, when I replaced it with a new RAM module, it didn’t boot. Had it checked (they’re still checking) but the initial diagnosis is a defective mother board. The price for a replacement board: a brand new laptop. I mean, I really loved my laptop but now, it’s about to become a rather big and expensive paper weight. It’s just very depressing. I think last January, it already had the underlying problem of burning RAM’s on the first slot. Now, I think that problem spread because of bad diagnosis before.
I’m just here to tell you that should there be any problems with your NEO laptops, have it checked thoroughly. I don’t mean to say bad things about NEO, but they are cheap for a reason. You just have to be very careful with using it.
hi erikladrero,
Thanks for your feedback
maybe i just got lucky since my neo laptop is still perfectly working after 1 year and 1 month..
though I really noticed the change in temperature on the left side and at the bottom now, which is not like this before. My laptop is on 20hrs a day So I really need to use an electric fan and have it focused on the laptop to avoid overheating.
I have a defective NEO laptop (motherboard) and i’m looking for a 14″Neo laptop (working) with damaged LCD that is for SALE. Just email me at azmagalso@yahoo.com if you have what i’m looking for, or if you have any suggestions. Thanks and God Bless!

hi, am planning to buy a neo tablet P2100. am fascinated on its features and the specs are fine with me. am a lil’ skeptic on the brand though. has anyone here own a tablet p2100? is it wise to buy it?
Ok lang ba lagyan ng games like NBA live ang Neo laptop? Di ko mahanap sa internet yung specs ng NEO basic B2174N ko, altough lam ko naman ang ibang specs nya, di ko lam ang specs ng Video card. hehe
