As you have noticed, i rarely create a new article this week, well this is mainly because I’m doing some modifications on this blog. Yeah I’m gonna give this blog not just a beauty make over but a total make over.
I’ll apply some SEO techniques and some changes on the physical, since i think my sidebars are kinda cluttered or not really organized. Will plan on the ads placement and some related tasks.
What to expect when I’m done with the make over?
I’ll be posting the things that i had learned after or while in the process of modification, it may include:
- Installing Wordpress Locally: Create Your Blog’s local version - Why do you need this? simple — you do not want to make a mess on your live site while doing some changes and debugs on your site’s appearance.
- Since I am really new to blogging, i had researched some blogging tips for beginners and will apply some of what i had read. Will going to discuss about these things but basically i am going to focus on the technical aspects. This includes what to add on your site’s source code, adding keywords, favicon etc. Totally some technical blogging tips for beginners. I think its for those like me, who have no working knowledge on the technology used, but had managed to do some modifications and customization on this blog.
- Choosing the right blogging platform. I’m using wordpress, its the best hehe.
- Something about Hosting companies (free or paid).
- Giving your blog its own identity, ofcourse i’m referring to domain names. Hmm you may ask why this blog still don’t have it’s own domain name yet, Hey i’m waiting for that (T———.com) to expire! I had visited the site and its not active, last post was December last year. Hope to acquire that before the year ends! or I’ll just settle with the .info account. We’ll see!!
- Expect up to date articles. Since the first few weeks of blogging serves as my “testing the waters” phase, and had confirmed that yeah! i really love blogging, i’ll be posting some articles regularly
Hmm… when i decided to create this post, i am thinking of about a 100 words or so.. i guess I’m just really excited that’s why it turned out to be a lengthy post.
